Club members had the ambition not only to move as many mountain trails as well as learn about the history of settlement, folklore and interesting people living in different mountain groups. In 1962 the annual rate in the Beskid guides, and in June 1963 after obtaining the permission of state came into existence Student Guides Beskid in Katowice. Who then thought, and believed that the same people who founded the club, will it work the next 50 years and still continue. But members of the Club were the students who are studying at various universities, came from different backgrounds, then went to work in various factories, some of them changed the place of residence, some went out of the country, and yet still come together by organizing interesting events Interest.
It should be noted that members of the ACT "Gronie" created a family atmosphere in the club, which means that they are together not only to tourist events, but also in life daily.

During these 50 years the club has already said goodbye to about 25 people, and the greatest loss was to depart on 25 November 2007 Janusz Kalinowski, founder and creator of ACT "Gronie" and many other travel agencies. 15th anniversary was celebrated twice: the first event in the Cottage at the stags as Congress Veterans, and the second: sumptuous party in the Open Air Museum in Chorzow a costume party, 20 years at Stone near Rybnik, the 25th anniversary of the Kokotku k / Lublinc, 1930 anniversary in Ustroń Hermanice, and the next: the 35th anniversary, 40th anniversary of the summer and 45 took place in the Vistula River in DW Halny.
